Lina George has a proven track record of innovative human resources leadership and success in achieving exceptional business results.  With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources executive leadership, Lina George brings a breadth and depth of knowledge and expertise, specifically in the areas of strategic direction and vision, organizational development, performance management, compensation, employee benefits, staffing and recruitment and HR technology.  Her prior business experience as a human resources legal counsel is balanced with significant professional experience and education in organizational performance and effectiveness.

Lina George has experience in supporting multi-site and multi-cultural organizations ranging in size from Fortune 500s to start ups and within a variety of demanding marketing conditions including high growth and turnarounds.  She is particularly skilled in positioning human resources as a key function with the ability to deliver high impact strategic solutions across organizations.  Lina George also has global international human resources experience with comprehensive knowledge of managing the intricacies of cultural differences and conducting business globally.  She is bilingual with complete fluency in Spanish.

Lina George most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for Sterling Commerce Inc.,a subsidiary of AT&T with $640 million in revenue and 2800 dedicated employees focusing on B2B software application sales and services in over 40 countries. 

Prior to that Lina George was the Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources for Maxtor Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of hard disk drive storage products and solutions with $4B in revenue and over 13,500 employees worldwide. 

Previously, Lina George spent 5 years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for NTT/ Verio Inc. and over 5 years with AT&T Broadband (formerly Tele-Communications, Inc- a world leading Fortune 500 telecommunications company with over 35,000 employees in 45 states) in progressively more responsible roles of Senior Vice President of Employee Relations and Labor, Vice President of Employee Relations, and Employment and Labor Counsel.

Earlier in her career, Lina George worked as an attorney with White & Steele, P.C and Great West Life Assurance Company specializing in litigation and counseling corporate clients on human resources issues and employee benefits.

Lina George earned her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from the University of Denver.  She is currently completing her Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University.  Lina George also holds certificates in organizational effectiveness and strategic talent leadership.
